Examining Davos, Russia-China Axis, and the Clash of Anthropological Values

The influential figures who convene annually in Davos seem to be gripped by fear. Their trepidation was palpable in the recent World Economic Forum meetings, where orchestrator, Klaus Schwab, incessantly emphasized the urgent need for 'Cooperation in a Fragmented World'.

Schwab's gloomy assessment of our world's dire fragmentation was predictable. Yet, he asserts that “the spirit of Davos” remains upbeat, with the prospect of a future 'green sustainable economy' offering a glimmer of hope.

During this year’s meeting, Davos excelled at introducing fresh catchphrases to the public discourse. Among these is “The New System”, seemingly an urgent upgrade to the existing operating model, which appears rattled after the much-publicized Great Reset falls somewhat short of expectations in some fields.

Davos finds itself in dire need of a complete overhaul — an upgrade in hardware, programming skills, and perhaps even a novel catalyst to shake things up. But all they've managed to drum up for now is a 'polycrisis', a Davos-esque term meaning a cluster of intertwined global risks that exacerbate each other, creating what, in plain English, we'd call a perfect storm.

Astonishingly, the somewhat tedious voices hailing from that insufferable island of self-adulation and limitless hubris in the Northern Atlantic Ocean have belatedly recognized that “geopolitics” never truly went into the drab “end of history” cul-de-sac. To their surprise, it has returned, once again, to its perennial focal point as it has been for the majority of recorded history.

Their grievances about “threatening” geopolitics is essentially a veiled reference to the Russia-China axis, with Iran as an additional concern. However, the pinnacle of their arrogance and folly is their inadvertent admission of a truth: The British, along with their dependents, are finding it hard to hide their frustration as the world they envisioned being built by Davos rapidly crumbles. Adding to their disquiet is the fact that the "City of London" is consistently identified as the prime, and potentially initial, nuclear target in all catastrophic scenarios predicted by western intelligence.

In reality, while Davos may have submerged the world in a sea of detrimental policies and restrictions on freedom, it has yet to "build" any world outside its own fabricated reality. Davos has consistently missed the mark, largely because these so-called “elites” have been perpetually engrossed in lauding the Empire of Chaos and its disastrous forays across the Global South.

Davos not only missed predicting all major recent economic upheavals but also completely overlooked the current 'perfect storm', a consequence of the neoliberalism-induced deindustrialization of the collective West.

Furthermore, Davos seems blind to the genuine shift towards a multipolar world, while their cohort of Young Global Leaders persistently adheres to implementing Great Reset policies. These policies, unfortunately, inflict unwarranted damage on all global populations.

Meanwhile, self-proclaimed thought leaders are enthusiastically 'rediscovering' that Thomas Mann's 'The Magic Mountain' was set in Davos — amid a lethal disease and the looming threat of a world war — almost a century ago.

In today's world, the “disease,” despite its full bioweaponization, isn't inherently lethal. The “impending World War,” on the other hand, is being zealously incited by a consortium of US Straussian neo-cons and neoliberal-cons, a bipartisan Deep State that operates beyond the purview of elected office, accountability, or even ideology. Even after a century, Henry Kissinger, a contentious war criminal, seems oblivious to this reality.

A Davos panel discussing de-globalization was marred by logical inconsistencies, but Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto did inject a measure of reality into the proceedings.

China's Vice-Premier Liu He, armed with extensive expertise in finance, science, and technology, helpfully outlined Beijing's top five strategies for the foreseeable future: China plans to concentrate on boosting domestic demand, ensuring smooth functioning of industrial and supply chains, fostering the robust growth of the private sector, intensifying state enterprise reform, and working towards making foreign investment more attractive.

Emmanuel Todd, the French anthropologist, historian, demographer, and geopolitical analyst, was absent from Davos. However, he managed to stir the pot across the collective West recently with an intriguing anthropological exhibit: an interview grounded in reality.

Todd's interview was featured in Le Figaro, the go-to newspaper of the French establishment and high bourgeoisie. It was discreetly tucked away on page 22, flanked by typical Russophobic diatribes, with a succinct reference at the bottom of the front page. Therefore, readers had to make a concerted effort to locate it.

Todd quipped about his somewhat ludicrous image as a “rebel destroyer” in France. In contrast, in Japan, he enjoys significant respect, regularly appears in mainstream media, and his books enjoy great success, including his latest one, The Third World War Has Already Started, which has sold over 100,000 copies.

Interestingly, this bestseller from Japan doesn't have a French counterpart, likely due to the entire Paris-based publishing industry adhering to the EU/NATO narrative on Ukraine.

The fact that Todd's insights ring true is a minor marvel in the current, woefully short-sighted European intellectual scene (though there are other analysts, particularly in Italy and Germany).

Let's delve into a quick rundown of Todd's most impactful points.

• The Dawn of a New World War: By transitioning from a limited territorial conflict to a global economic clash, with the collective West on one side and Russia, aligned with China, on the other, we have now entered the realm of a World War.

• The Kremlin's Miscalculation: According to Todd, the Kremlin made a mistake by assuming that Ukraine's fragmented society would collapse immediately. However, he does not delve into the specifics of how Ukraine has been heavily weaponized by the NATO military alliance.

• Germany and France as Minor NATO Partners: Todd hits the nail on the head by emphasizing how Germany and France have been relegated to minor partners within NATO, unaware of the military machinations in Ukraine. In his words: “They did not know that the Americans, British and Poles could allow Ukraine to fight an extended war. NATO’s fundamental axis now is Washington-London-Warsaw-Kiev.”

• Russia's Economic Resilience: Todd's most crucial revelation is a real eye-opener: “The resistance of Russia's economy is leading the imperial American system to the precipice. Nobody had foreseen that the Russian economy would hold facing NATO’s 'economic power’”.

• Potential Collapse of American Monetary Controls: Todd highlights the possibility that the “monetary and financial American controls over the world may collapse, and with them the possibility for the US of financing for nothing their enormous trade deficit.”

• Endless War: According to Todd, the ongoing conflict is a “clash where the conclusion is the collapse of one or the other.”

• American Economy's Dilemma with China: He asserts a more assertive version of Liu He's statement at Davos: “That's the fundamental dilemma of the American economy: it cannot face Chinese competition without importing a qualified Chinese work force.”

• The Russian Economy's Adaptability: Todd identifies the Russian economy as “accepting market rules, but with an important role for the state, and it keeps the flexibility of forming engineers who allow adaptations, industrial and military.”

• Clash of Civilizations Fallacy: Todd offers a nuanced interpretation, positing that “On 75 percent of the planet, the organization of parenthood was patrilineal, and that’s why we may identify a strong understanding of the Russian position. For the collective non-West, Russia affirms a reassuring moral conservatism.”

• Moscow's Global Positioning: According to Todd, Moscow has successfully managed to “reposition itself as the archetype of a big power, not only 'anti-colonialist' but also patrilineal and conservative in terms of traditional mores.”

Taking all the aforementioned points into consideration, Todd effectively debunks the narrative propagated by EU/NATO “elites,” including those at Davos, who claim that Russia is “isolated.” He emphasizes that the voting patterns in the United Nations and the prevailing sentiment across the Global South illustrate the nature of the conflict. While the mainstream media portrays it as a dispute over political values, Todd argues that, on a deeper level, it is actually a clash of anthropological values.

Is it possible that Russia, alongside the true Quad consisting of China, India, and Iran, is emerging as the frontrunner in the realm of anthropological values? Despite this worrying Quad's possession of values that may not align with our accustomed way of life, it unfortunately holds the essential elements required to thrive as a promising hub of cross-cultural hope in our “fragmented world”.

Will the world finally learn from this extraordinary union and abandon the flawed ideas of the Great Reset? Is history destined to repeat itself, condemned to a cycle where valuable lessons go unheeded? Will we once again bear the consequences and submit to the burden of living under the technocratic principles of the Great Reset, with a deranged elite clutching onto it desperately, akin to a drowning sailor? Or will we finally take control of shaping the world according to our own beliefs and ideas, discarding the influence of an insane, parasitic elite who has the audacity to wield power over our lives?
