Very true, the same comparison was made years ago by one of my friends, regarding Canada and I scoffed, but now I find that Canada has become just as the EU has, a new USSR. The tables have flipped and now the Anglosphere/EU are repressing not only liberty but thought.

The only places to go to I would say, is outside of these places, or in the most rural of corners to wait the coming collapse. The trouble is that the likes of Schwab and his intellectual midgets and friends is that nothing they build can last, it is already crumbling.

It seems to me we are fighting a war on 2 fronts: against the psychopathy of the few and the apathy of the many. The psychopathic centralising globalists have successfully demoralised the masses over time into apathy and are now accelerating societal destabilisation with rapid fire crises with the aim of creating a totalitarian new world order accepted as normal. We can use well researched and written articles like these as weapons in our battles to motivate the demoralised.

The millennial and gen Z generation’s leftist cohorts are fervently anti-moral. Whatever “justice” they claim to support is actually the opposite, as are their actions. Im from Oregon and know several antifa “justice warriors” who do nothing but destroy and perpetuate immorality personally and politically.

The problem is that the masses of the young generations are morally apathetic, as you said. Because they been successfully indoctrinated that morality is subjective, relative, “you truth my truth what is truth”, and theyve been berated into accepting taboos and sacred cows which they probably dont care about but the fervent few drive the bus. These people, the great horde of normies, can be woken from their stupor and slumber. Indeed many Gen Z men already are, and turning against the edifice of lies in which theyve been raised.

But I fear moral unmooring, even if theres a powerful backlash by “conservative” young men, theres no guarantee currently that virtue will win the day. And so I pray for a great revival in our nation. I pray that the Gospel breaks through to a new and lost generation, and young people come back to Christ- the only Truth, the only Righteousness. Only God can save America. And if America is lost there will be a global dark age of unseen horror and epic proportion.

Christ is Lord and He alone is our Hope and Salvation.

"equal opportunity, which is positive and necessary, and equality, which actually leads to uniformity"

So true, and this is something we also face currently with all these DIE (diversity, inclusion and equity) programs. Aiming for an unattainable equality of outcomes, righting some favorite perceived wrongs, alienating and ordering groups based on intrinsic characteristics... it's all very soul crushing as well, and it will also destabilize the West.

It was well written. I have heard of Besmenov years ago. It’s amazing where the society is right now-not just in the us. I don’t even know how to explain my reaction to it. Madness is all I can think of...its pure madness occurring today

I highly recommend James Lindsey’s recent podcast “The Current Thing Did Not Take Place”. Very narrative forced upon us is divide in support the revolution that began decades ago. I won’t go into too much detail but it flows well with the message in this essay.

Al Gore says there is a mental health crisis around the world on not solving 'climate changea'https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2023/12/al-gore-says-there-is-mental-health-crisis/?utm_source=Email&utm_medium=the-gateway-pundit&utm_campaign=dailyam&utm_content=2023-12-11

The data never supported Al Gore and still does not nor anyone else fostering this Lemming-like-run over-a-cliff madness. My perspective is that there is true mental illness but it is centered on Al Gore and those who miss interpret or purposely ignore the actual facts to be socially acceptable. Greta is a case in point of how disconnected these people continue to be in demanding we do what they say and ignore what they do because they deserve 'special privileges'.

Demoralization being irreversible is a terrifying prospect, but these days it seems easy to see why. As the dysfunction sets in, it spreads dysfunction elsewhere, making it difficult to preserve any sense of order or even rationality. I'm not sure what the right move is in a demoralized society, though I guess a good start would be recognizing the seeds of it in our own lives and attempt to route them out.
