It’s not school and it’s not news.

Indoctrination and propaganda.

Good example of how to simplify the problem into the minimum words that fit the facts..

I went to school in the UK in the 60s/70s and cant really recall much serious indoctrination. The syllabus seemed focussed of rote learning of names, dates and other facts. For example, we were taught UK history from 1066 onward but with a focus on ~1800 through WW1 in high school. However, I can't really recall any "propaganda" associated with the British Empire History. The focus was usually just on dates and battles etc not whether the empire was good or bad. Perhaps it was just my Scottish school. Even then though it seems to me that public schools missed a reall opportunity in tutoring young people in how to think, how to look at the work with an open mind, how to debate and argue BOTH sides of ANY problem. Things are considerably worse now as children seem to be indoctrinated into only thinking about an issue in black or white terms. Only the "white" side is right and the "black" side are the enemy.

As for News, we I used to read a newspaper in my 20s through early 50s and largely believed what I was reading / hearing was the facts albeit slanted to the left or right of the political spectrum depending on the paper. I know different now. I just don't see this changing until there is full blown crisis and even then I believe the majority of the population will do what they are told. If things get really bad, they will simply vote for whomever tells them what they desperately want to hear. I used to be a glass is half full person, now I am definitely of the view that the glass is f***ing empty.

School institutionalizes people so they can work in other institutions without complaining.

The school system of today is also indoctrinating gender ideology and post modernism to our kids. Since most parents are minimally involved in their children's growth nowadays, they make the perfect victims for nefarious agendas. We're coming in some cases to a place where kids are taught to denounce their family and neighbours if they stray from their agenda.

It's possible to home school children and to choose unschooling strategies. Many states allow it and some encourage it. Marxists have always been vitriolic in their opposition to the family and always for mandatory indoctrination.

The big newspapers and magazines were all bought up in the 1890s by various groups that favour propaganda, especially the Rhodes and Milner conspiracy. Filthy scum like William Randolph Hearst lied about the USS Maine to start the Spanish American war and made huge profits from the war.

Radio used to be an open market but evil reprobate progressive Republican in name only Calvin "small government" Coolidge ruined it for freedom with his hateful Federal Radio Commission which he gave authority to regulate all thought crimes over the radio. It was, of course, worsened under openly tyrannical FDR. So some of us built the internet and anonymous remailers and mixmaster virtual privacy network technology and location agnostic servers and taught open source encryption.

And now we are at war with hirsute troglodytes in government and enthusiasts for tyranny like the Worldcoin guy who is coming for your iris identity so you will never be free again. But the world we built has many hidden doors. So we will win, God willing. And we won't be thanked.

There was a plan put in place to control and corrupt the education system.Through the introduction of the Prussian education system, where students were taught only what was necessary, a nation of independent, self-educated, self-reliant people became a nation of ignorant, obedient, docile sheep.

Globalists/ Rockefellers have been chipping away at the young American minds for a very long time:

"The NEA’s historical waters run deep, too. In 1929, John Dewey authored Individualism, Old and New, in which he wrote, “We are in for some kind of socialism; call it by whatever name we please, and no matter what it will be called when it is realized.”

That same year, after returning from the Soviet Union, Dewey published an article in the New Republic. In it, he fawned over the USSR’s school system and the socialist worldview it instilled in its students:"
