The Grand Illusion of a “Just and Sustainable World”
The True Power of G20, BRICS, and the WEF in Shaping Our World.
Prepare yourself for a masterclass in the theatrics of global governance, where the stage is set for an illustrious production: the United Nations Summit of the Future.
This grandiose assembly, under the guise of charting the course for our collective future, is nothing short of an elaborate facade to bolster an already bloated economic global governance system, with the G20 audaciously positioned at the pinnacle of this power pyramid.
If you appreciate my articles, please consider giving them a like. It's a simple gesture that doesn't cost you anything, but it goes a long way in promoting this post, combating censorship, and fighting the issues that you are apparently not a big fan of.
Enter the protagonist of our tale: the UN's latest policy brief, “Reforms to the International Financial Architecture.” This document, a product of grandiloquent aspirations from the United Nations' “Our Common Agenda,” proposes the creation of an “apex body” for economic coordination.
A body so elite, it promises to be the panacea for achieving Agenda 2030 and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This is the cradle of our future world government, where the G20, UN, and global financial institutions unite in a biennial summit of economic omnipotence.
Basking in the spotlight, under the stewardship of Brazil and President Lula da Silva, the G20 unveils its slogan: “building a just world and a sustainable planet.” The irony couldn't be richer as these focus areas serve as little more than a veneer for an entity that has morphed into the embryo of a world government, claiming to serve 80% of the global populace yet functioning as an executive council with a questionable track record.
Mikhael Gorbachev, the former leader of the Soviet Union, once christened it the “Global Politburo,” an appellation that rings eerily true today as the G20 expands its reach, now including the African Union among its ranks.
This burgeoning assembly, along with its permanent guest attendees like the Secretary-General of the United Nations and representatives from a plethora of international organizations, delves into the realms of finance and health through its “finance track” and “sherpa track,” further entrenching its influence over global economic and health policies.
As if this wasn't enough, the G20 boasts engagement groups like Women20, Youth20, and Business20, with the latter having cozy ties to the World Economic Forum, where Klaus Schwab sits as a member of the advisory council.
These groups, ostensibly designed to represent various societal interests, instead amplify the voices of the already powerful, ensuring the continuation of a status quo that disproportionately benefits the elite.
And so, the saga unfolds further, with the G20 and its illustrious cadre ensconced within the hallowed halls of global governance, orchestrating a symphony that resonates with the harmonics of control and supremacy.
As the narrative deepens, we bear witness to a grand illusion, a spectacle cloaked in the garb of global cooperation and altruism, yet fundamentally designed to perpetuate the dominion of the few over the many.
