Last year, the founder of the World Economic Forum, Klaus Schwab (also known as an afore unmentioned villain in the Batman universe) claimed that 2022 will be the year of the Great Reset. But what then?
Given you’re a big fan of the Great Reset so far, I have exciting news for you: From the makers of “The Great Reset” comes an even bigger, more monumental, and ever more life-changing masterpiece: The Great Narrative. And boy, are you going to love that defining “Great Narrative” you will likely have to live with for the rest of your lives.
It's like in chess: First, you strategically position your pieces and when the timing is right, you strike. To make sure that you will not be caught unexpected, I’m going to show you three things that are on the horizon for the coming year or are already being implemented or felt as you are reading this — depends on where in the world you’re currently at.
The Great Reset is an agenda which has been created by the World Economic Forum based on the UN’s “Agenda 21” in order to “reset” our entire global economy and politics to be controlled by a centralized government with the tag line “You will own nothing, and you will be happy”.
But the Great Reset is merely the vehicle that is utilized to turn the world into following the afore mentioned “Great Narrative”. However, what is this Great Narrative? The World Economic Forum describes it on their website as follows:
The Great Narrative meeting is a linchpin of the Great Narrative initiative, a collaborative effort of the world’s leading thinkers to fashion longer-term perspectives and co-create a narrative that can help guide the creation of a more resilient, inclusive and sustainable vision for our collective future.
It continues on to promote the “reflections” of these unelected and self-proclaimed “world’s leading thinkers” being shared in a book that was released in January 2022 that you can find here.
According to the WEF, the Great Narrative is a how-to guide in terms of how the Great Reset will be implemented — from their perspective at least. My perspective is a little different.
EARLY STAGES OF A NATIONAL SOCIAL CREDIT SYSTEM
2022 has so far been an exciting year for the Great Reset. It has been the year when we’ve seen the early stages of an implementation of national social credit systems in a western country: Italy.
For those of you who aren’t familiar with what a social credit system is, according to an article written by The Hill:
China’s social credit system is a combination of government and business surveillance that gives citizens a “score” that can restrict the ability of individuals to take actions — such as purchasing plane tickets, acquiring property or taking loans — because of behaviors.
Obviously, it has been made famous by China, and apparently it’s gaining wild popularity in western countries such as Germany.
Interestingly, many people in America know about the concept of a social credit system and are quick to say that the US in a million years will never adopt this. Will it not? In the same The Hill article, we find the following:
Last week, PayPal announced a partnership with the left-wing Southern Poverty Law Center to “investigate” the role of “white supremacists” and propagators of “anti-government” rhetoric, subjective labels that potentially could impact a large number of groups or people using their service. PayPal says the collected information will be shared with other financial firms and politicians. Facebook is taking similar measures, recently introducing messages that ask users to snitch on their potentially “extremist” friends, which considering the platform’s bias seems mainly to target the political right. At the same time, Facebook and Microsoft are working with several other web giants and the United Nations on a database to block potential extremist content.
In addition, Microsoft has recently updated its policies to allow them from blocking contents of your email based on what you say or upload.

And if that is not enough, we now have the “president” of the “land of the free” and his administration of mental miscarriages creating ways for you to “report your radicalized friends and family to the government”.
Countless people at this point are going to say, “A social credit system will be the hill that I will die on. I oppose this. This is not right!” Just like many people today, for some reason, are saying that they would have never supported the Nazis if they were living during these times. There is a famous quote that says, “History never repeats itself, but it sure does have its patterns.” And I am pretty confident that the past two and a half years have shown us who of our colleagues and friends would have reported us to be herded into camps. Imagine if there was a mandate for all of those who are not vaccinated to be quarantined into these special camps to “improve the overall health of our society” and it would only be “temporary”. How many people would actively be helping to support this? The recent past has shown us that there would be plenty of people who would support this.
Now imagine, if it were the other way around, if those who were vaccinated weren’t allowed in certain stores, and they’d be made fun of. How many people would support that? Probably the same story.
The main point is that perhaps we are not that far off from a national social credit system being implemented in our western “liberal democracies” which will eventually lead to the Great Narrative. This brings us to our next point, and that is one that is already impacting your life right now.
ECONOMIC STAGFLATION AND THE PROGRESSION OF UNIVERSAL BASIC INCOME (UBI)
Stagflation is characterized by slow economic growth and relatively high unemployment—or economic stagnation—which at the same time is accompanied by rising prices (i.e., inflation).
Any person—no matter if you have an economics degree—can tell you that inflation is much higher than the reported 7%. When you look at the current scenario for economic stagflation in 2022, it’s the perfect storm for one thing: More and more people across the world are getting into debt, and you may remember that the elimination of personal debt is one of the carrots that’s being dangled in front of a lot of gullible people for them to come on board for the Great Reset and the Great Narrative. The real irony, of course, is that they are making money off our debt anyway.
We are currently in a scenario where wages don’t go up, the economy doesn’t grow and inflation continues to rise, which leads us to universal basic income (UBI). As of now, UBI has already moved on from being a California-only thing to the state of New York announcing that its citizens are now going to experience their first taste of universal basic income in 2022.
In an article written by The Sun it is said: “The CRNY program will provide $125 million over three years for up to 2,700 artists in New York State. The funds are allocated towards UBI and employment opportunities for artists across the state.”
Yes, it is only for a small, select group of individuals, and it’s not statewide. Not yet, anyway. But remember, the strategic positioning comes before checkmate, so how long do you think we have before this becomes a statewide policy? There already are other places like Rochester, Durham, and different parts of New Jersey having announced, that they intend to introduce UBI in the year 2022.
They want stagflation to get everyone into debt and UBI becoming more and more popular. This creates a situation where the perceived, ideal solution is for us to exchange our freedom for “security” and “elimination of debt”. A situation where we will own nothing, and we will be happy. Needless to say that all of this also feeds the creation of a central bank digital currency.
GLOBAL COMMUNISM
With that said, numerous people, especially in my generation, still believe that concepts like socialism and communism where the government controls the means of production and distribution are good things. They imagine a world where everyone is nice to each other and no one is poor and everything is sunshine and rainbows. And it seems as if the people in Davos know exactly that as they repeatedly frame their doings as “You, the younger generation, wants us to do that!”
I covered why socialism and communism will never lead to that Star Trek like marshmallow world so many of you imagine and why your perception of what communism is probably wrong in another article:
Many people like to point out the story of two countries that used to be one but split because one half believed in capitalism (South Korea is by the way still one of the top ten economies in the world) and the other half believed in communism. But I know that this summons a lot of self-proclaimed Korea-experts who are going to explain to me why this cannot be compared, so let’s look at the other four socialist countries in the world (excluding China), namely Laos, Cuba, Vietnam, and Venezuela.
Laos ranks #112 in terms of nominal GDP economic growth and is also considered one of East Asia’s poorest countries in a research paper done by UNESCAP. Cuba ranks #62 in nominal GDP economic growth and despite having one of the most strategically advantaged locations for trade, nearly half of all households living in the country are living below the poverty line. Then we have the Socialist Republic of Vietnam which did not even experience any economic growth until 1986 when the country started pushing for private ownership and nationwide commerce and agriculture started being dictated by three market principles and not a centralized government, which led to the US lifting a former trade embargo set on Vietnam in 1994. And finally, we have Venezuela, which used to be on a path towards becoming a prosperous country in Latin America before a socialist government took over. And now we have Venezuelans making handbags out of their worthless paper money—yes, socialism has never been done correctly, sure.
I intend not to disrespect any of these countries or the poor people suffering under socialist rule, but I do believe that the socialist economic frameworks they have adopted over the years have done way more damage to their countries and their citizens than capitalism has ever done.

If you are one of the individuals that disagree with me, shut up because you already have more blood on your hand than any other person who has ever been indoctrinated by a different political ideology other than communism or socialism.
In May 2022, the World Economic Forum met in Davos under the banner “Working together to regain trust” to discuss their agenda, which is pretty much the most straightforward thing to do in the “Year of the Great Reset” after they had to postpone their meetings “due to Covid-19”. There’s a lot to unpack about this meeting and of course there are a lot more things to the Great Reset and the Great Narrative that people need to know about, so don’t forget to subscribe and share this article.
The Great Narrative is Here to Stay
I agree with your analysis regarding surveillance/social credit and economy/UBI. Furthermore, I think these concepts will complement each other: No "decent" living standard without UBI. No UBI without a digital identity and social credit points.
I'm not fully convinced of the "global communism" part of your essay, though: Communism has always been afflicted with a lack of economic efficiency. So scarcity is a natural part of communist systems. You describe this problem when discussing Venezuela, for example.
But the scarcity we are now confronted with is the result of (deliberate) market manipulation that benefits a couple of highly efficient and profitable corporations. You describe this quite well in your text on Agenda 21, my favorite piece of yours.
So the term "corporatism" (which Mussolini considered a better term than fascism for his system) seems much more fitting to describe the ongoing merger of political and economic power.
Anyway, sorry for rambling on and on about this. Promise it won't become the norm.
