Two years ago I bought myself a full set of Encyclopaedia Britannica (30 books) from 1983 - just before the internet took off. I thought I was simply preserving truth from the past, as it was being corrupted in the present through the internet. I never imagined "they" would systematically remove history. How

long before it's illegal to keep such books?

Yep, Ive got a whole room full of 'library', which I have dragged around all over the world and continue to build, because I KNEW they would do this. I lived for a decade in the dessert in my young years with not even a radio. When every one started to 'use the internet' as their central brain, I could see the writing on the wall. Someone 'pulls the plug', and she's all gone. Never trusted 'the cloud', because I've seen too many of them dissipitate. I sound like an old fart, and I use tech heavily, but this one, I could see coming a mile off. One big 'EMP' and shes all gone, and a lot of peeps dead.

And guess who has you now surrounded with 'satellites', in almost ever square inch of the sky? Oh yes, the 'good cop'.... hmmm. Who in his right mind would think that in a world run by and with the boot of the elite monsters and their pit bulls the DOD, and NASA, let alone CIA on the world population throats, would a allow, 'private citizen' - 'Elon' (the acting genius), to fill the earths skies with 'satellites'? Funny how he 'opened up' a bear trap, on X so you could all be corralled into one convenient spot. Makes you easier to round up. Crazy eh? Yikes..

Yeh, its a good script, but brace yourselves folks. More sardines under the bed might be a good idea.

1984’s Ministry of Truth records department brought up to date in 2024 and will we see it followed up with a Fahrenheit 451 attack on physical records? I’m going to print out your articles Lily and store them in my fireproof safe. They’re definitely worth the paid subscription.

What an honor! If I manage to publish a physical book sometime soon, I’ll send you a copy for free to lock away in that safe.

I have been 'wasting paper' like this for some time now. Same same.

I have to start saving anything relevant.

We may have a response to it. A network of individuals doing the same. A way to distributed archive search. Using the blockchain concept.

It sounds scary, but digital copies can be distributed and practically cost-free

And I’ll buy a 2nd copy to proudly display on my bookshelf or coffee table while I have another one safe in the safe!

There is no doubt the internet is as big an invention as the wheel and although it was instigated by the military evolved into the ultimate device to bring global society together. THAT IS EVOLUTION AT WORK!!!! We have tasted the freedom nad that is the big mistake now being made in trying to take that freedom away. We have tasted it and we will find ways and means to bring it back. People are the inventors and innovators NOT corporations. Bitcoin is the latest in a long list of human developments that are a part and parcel of evolution and totally unstoppable. Yes Lily you are right that it all looks dismal at present but then powerful always overreach themselves and more importantly start fighting amongst themselves for a bigger slice of power and eventually self destruct. Bitcoin has the banks worried and people like the idea of financial independence this alludes to. They have tasted something they like and that is critical to the future. I believe we are headed towards a huge revolution the like of which we have never seen before in our history as the people are waking up and want the power returned to them. As to just 4% of your readers paying for your valuable service . . . that is appalling IMHO.
