Rejection by action: Gardening and heat by wood. Not very convenient. Plenty of conveniences in my life, though. The wake up call of epic wake ups comes via electric failure. Life as we know it comes full stop.

Imho this is coming soon. Basic survival will confronting most everyone. Food water and protection from desperado types will be front and center. I’ll add that if I think I got a plan to get thru, well a punch to my face is coming…

Be gray and hang loose.

This will be inconvenient to the maxxx.

A fantastic article, as always. I have two thoughts to add. First, this consumerism wasn't an accident, of course. After WWII, the US funded studies in propaganda and psychological warfare. Some of those participating took the results and founded the new, huge advertising firms in the 50's and 60's. Their goal was to create a consuming society through brainwashing and propaganda in advertising and media. This article demonstrates its undeniable success.

Second, there is one thing that we can do together that will at least prevent the elite and their mega corporations from controlling our government and give the citizens control for the first time. We can get behind the first realistic solution; innovative yet practical changes to government processes that will create a nonpartisan direct democracy called a Collaborative Democracy. It is based on collective intelligence and it protects the government from outside influences such as lobbyists, special interests, the WEF, political parties, and the ultra wealthy elite who control them and fund their candidates. The main parts of it have been used around the world with real success, demonstrating that it does work. The details are in the book End Politics Now, which can be ordered from Amazon in all formats or read for free online at https://endpoliticsnow.com/.

Associated with convenience is an aversion to anything inconvenient that takes effort. To defend our inaction and lack of interest in making our country and the world a better place, we think "if only the xyz party or president wins the election, everything will be fine. All I have to do is vote." Or just as bad, "I don't have time for that. It's time to rest or to entertain myself with the screen of infinite stories." Or, "That will never work because of..." It's easy to not put forth any effort to investigate anything, much less support it, if we've already passed judgment on it without any information. How convenient! In reality, you are voting for the future right now with your decision of what to do with your time. Who are you voting for to rule you?

Great write up on the state of today’s society. Complacency got us here and Complicity keeps us here. Nothing will change for society until they realize that.. unfortunately the majority are unwilling to sacrifice their “conveniences” for their freedoms. We are headed down the path to Totalitarianism.. the speed at which we go down the path is up to society isn’t it..

Such a good text for so many bad things, ironic isn't it? ;-)

Jacques Ellul (french philospher) in "Propaganda" (1962) :

"When man has been entirely adapted to this society, when he has ended up obeying with enthusiasm, because convinced of the excellence of what he is made to do, the organizational constraint will no longer be felt, The truth is that she will no longer be constrained, and the police will have nothing more to do. Civic and technical good will and the enthusiasm of the social myth, created by propaganda, will have definitively resolved the human problem"

I added an interview with Dr. Robert Young to the following story. It aligns with the statements of Dr. Lee Merritt and Sasha Latypova and others that we are dealing with an intentional poisoning. Please don’t be put off by the provocative title (it has grabbed a lot of attention):
