Twenty years ago, a nefarious Trojan horse was unleashed upon the world - Facebook. Masquerading as a harmless “directory” for college students, this insidious creation rapidly metastasized into a behemoth tool of oppression, manipulation, and social control by the corporate-government panopticon.
It was governments who were 'directed' to allow these tech startups to become the behemoths they are today to control the internet and stop it being the vehicle to finally bring global society together as it should be. Centuries of separation by race colour and creed is the only way the powerful can remain so and hence the panic over the web. This panic is showing up now as the overplay their hand with such things as the Covid fiasco and now society caused climate change. PEOPLE ARE WAKING UP and I remain positive that a powerful blowback will occur . . . . Remaining hopeful is essential to our childrens future on this beautiful planet.
Couldn't agree more. I deleted my Facebook account when the Cambridge Analytica scandal broke out, and never looked back since. It's fascinating how much more cringe information has come out about them since, but it keeps going strong.
