The most powerful weapon against oppression is in my opinion, one's ability to articulate one's critical thinking on any issue one wants and the courage to do so. It does take practice but reading substacks like yours and absorbing the articulation of others makes this possible. I support the entire US Constitution as it is clearly based on a secular version of the "Golden Rule". However, the 1st Amendment protecting free speech is the most important. A well articulated argument by a single individual can be supported by millions who feel the same but have not honed their skills to speak the same. Voices like yours do precisely that.

I agree with you and add my voice to yours. We need the clarity you present to light the torch of freedom once again

Rise up, not just America but the entire "free" world. Rise up before it is too late. Powerful weapons we have which the avaricious tyrannical beast lacks are our senses of humanity and humour. We need to deploy both effectively to reclaim enough of the masses to prevail. Just look at some of the government officials who, despite occupying seats of authority, possess no greater wisdom, understanding, or concern for our well-being than the average citizen. Fauci, Walensky, Hotez and a litany of other evil clowns around the world too numerous to mention. Although they are all guilty of heinous crimes against humanity they are all comedy gold. As Lily comprehensively covers here, the reality is dark so let's all spread the light of laughter and humanity.

This sounds really strange, but I have been studying and publishing local and family histories, with some strange idea that it may br relevant and even necessary today. Well, after reading this, I might know why. Back in the mid 1800s was a very different America and very different people. The immigrants that came here, arrived in smaller groups and were committed to becoming patriotic Americans. They knew what really tyranny was. If we can educate ourselves on the America our forefathers created came for, not only does it give us something to fight, but it gives us a foundation to build upon. This doesn’t sound crazy, does it?

Lily for President! Maybe 2028?

This sober outline of where people at are is a great place for people to make a choice on what particular aspect they think is worth taking a stab at fixing.

Another well crafted piece Lily. You are very much correct in stating the window of opportunity to make a stand is closing fast. In an ironic twist,June 6, the 80th anniversary of D Day could be the beginning of the end of our personal sovereignty. I read an article from the Lawyer Lisa substack in regards of AirBnB updating their cancellation and refund policies as of June 6, to include mass power outages, world health crises and severe weather events as non refundable terms. What do they know, that we don’t? The WHO meeting for the international health regulations is at the end of May. Coincidentally. I think we all know that if they can’t get the ratification of the regulations, then they will unleash the wrath of multiple events. I suppose we might have a somewhat firm date of the new world Tyranny, if that’s the case. The reality of the timeline is frighteningly fast. Tick Tock.

Once great nation? I don't know what the qualifications for great are, but to me none of these nation states are great. My take is they are different implementations of oppression. They have collectively said they own the earth and the masses are renting it off them. They literally make it so people have to be put into labor so that they can have access to food and shelter. That's slavery in my book. As a Rick and Morty episode put it "Slavery with a few extra steps."

I believe in actual freedom. Not hollow words and being ruled over by people hundreds of miles away who have never shown wisdom. If people far away have control over how you live your life, you ain't free.

In South Africa, we have a humorous saying: "Are you free, or are you dom?" "Dom" comes from the Afrikaans word for "stupid", deriving originally from "dumb", I suppose. At any rate, when contemplating the wholesale erosion of freedom globally, this is becoming a not so humorous rallying cry. Are we truly so stupid not to see what's happening?

Yeah but I can’t rise up if I’m at risk of a climate change induced heart attack!

I agree with what you have said.. but the question remains as to how? It is impressive how the system manages dissent back into the fold. As long as the bulk of people who are anti establishment keep getting sucked into recuperation schemes ( trump et cetera) the path will remain blocked for the short run. For the long fight, we can't let the system educate our children. Public school system must be vacated and eventually dismantled.

You can definitely see the police state in cities such as New York and Chicago.

The police can be oppressive, but they are now de-funded. Pittsburgh is not going to respond to a call unless they deem it an in progress emergency; from 3AM to 7 AM they are not going to have many officers working. Meanwhile, here in Houston, the police department shot an unarmed Black Man to death a year ago. My city councilman, the mayor, the new mayor, none of them answer my emails or calls. No consequences for anyone, no changes or training. They won't even acknowledge this. I have to go to the city council meeting and speak to at least get this on record. What I really want is for someone to admit that the Great Race Riots of 2020 and the George Floyd debacle were simply hyped up to influence (rig) the 2020 election.
