As a writer I empathize 1000% with all you have said Lily. The loneliness is a part of the job and I feel comfortable with that because my subject matter, like all writers, is very personal to me and therefore lonely. When I experience the frustrations and uncertainty you talk about here I simply step away and await the inspiration that always comes, although often not within the time frame I had in mind. Increasingly these days I find I am not so much a 'writer' but a 'channel' and what now goes on the screen is not what I thought I would first put down! You have a gift and commitment which, because of the subject matter, can only appeal to the minority who are not swayed by MSM and other propaganda machines. However, they are the people who will and do act to change the abuses of the modern world, and their motivation is propelled in no small way by your work and other like minded writers. Perhaps a festive break will bring fresh clarity. Something that, for me, is always a joy to experience. I wish you an enjoyable festive season and thank you from the bottom of my heart for constantly opening my eyes and bringing me a constant supply of clarity. God Bless you lady.

Actually, it was one of your history pieces that enthralled me and I became a paid subscriber based on that.… I understood, as best I could, the time energy, mental and physical costs that your work represented so…” because history is where the threads of the present are woven”…. I look forward to your continued efforts. I find you as close to a genius as anyone I’ve come across. Bravo.

I am a paid subscriber. I love your historical articles and I also like your commentary. Believe me, I understand and marvel at the effort you must go through to write your articles with such detail.

I too understand the frustration. I was so upset about the political divide and the power of the political elite in 2020 that I spent 2 years researching, developing, and writing a solution. To me, writing about a problem without presenting a solution is a waste of time unless you are in a community and are developing a solution together.

I have almost 50 years of experience solving large, complex problems for some of the biggest companies and the government. Accordingly, I researched the root cause which you have described very well in your articles. I then developed the only realistic solution I've ever seen to the entire political situation in the US.

There is so much complaining and so much time devoted to this issue that I assumed people would want to read a book with a positive feasible solution and a plan to get there. But very few people do. The only way to present the solution to a complex situation is in a book with a few hundred pages that can explain the problem and the solution in small pieces in the right order. But if it takes more than 10 minutes to read or 2 minutes of a tik tok or YouTube video, people don't seem to be interested.

I find that people want to rant about their opinion or their ideas for a solution even though they are vague and unrealistic but no one wants to read a valid realistic solution. WTF? It is so discouraging that I have given up. I've never cared about selling books. I just want people to have hope. I just want people to see that a better future is possible and we could achieve it together. I was planning to write on substack but I have deemed it not worth the effort. People say to just get started and yet they won't read a book. By the way, the name of the book is End Politics Now and it's available on Amazon in all formats.

Meta won't let me advertise and stops any posts from spreading on Facebook and Instagram. I get quite a bit of discussion on substack but have only sold a couple of books from that discussion over the last 18 months. So I'm throwing in the towel. I'm going to return to spending my time helping people start businesses.

You are one of the few people on substack that I will continue to subscribe to because it is worth it to me to read what you write. I enjoy it. Your writing is intelligent and well thought through. I think focusing on lessons from history is a great idea.

Your hard work to expose the lies and get to the truth is much appreciated - continue courageously opposing this dystopia! This helps us all. As a Christian I believe we must resist this evil fiercely, trusting in God.

What a great article. That's exactly how I feel most of the time. ANGRY AND HELPLESS. You are heading in the right direction as to understand where to go in the future you have to understand the past. Doing that will give you the roadmap you are seeking.

Just know this we cannot stop what Elon Musk, Thiel et al are attempting to do BUT no empire has ever lasted and there will be huge human sacrifice along the way but the masses always prevail. We have too many not to.

Lily from your very first humdinger of an article I’m never disappointed when your posts pop into my inbox. I’m very happy to contribute more to keep you writing and to encourage you to keep shining your laser-focused light on the darkness and evil infesting the upper echelons of our control structure. Is learning of the duplicitous, demonic depravity dominating our ever-expanding government apparatus disturbing, disheartening and depressing? Absolutely. But if we can’t see how our enemy is demoralising, destabilising and destroying humanity, the bulk of whom seem to remain blissfully unaware of the attack they are under for now, how can we hope to fight back? To counter any negative emotions engendered by your rigorously researched revelations, I find myself turning more and more to the natural world and also the uplifting feelings generated by great art, humour/humor and true sporting contest. I hope you are able to find something similar as an antidote to the weight you find yourself bearing on all our behalf.

Best wishes for the holiday season and for your continued inspiration in 2025.

PS. You have a cute dog.

Hello Lily, happy holidays! I hope you get to enjoy some good times even with all the bleak news. I'm on my second year as a subscriber, and while I don't always take the time to comment, or sometimes just don't have anything constructive to say or add to the conversation, I enjoy most of what you write. The news that you want to delve more into the historical pieces is good news to me, as those are the pieces I enjoy the most. I'm a big history fan in general, and it's always an interesting read when there is a fresh take or additional information on old events. And even though it's still a lot of work for you, it's a lot easier to get right than analyzing current events with sometimes limited information. Best wishes to you and a big hello to your beautiful doggy.

Never give up alilybit.

It is writers like you that give hope to many. You were kind to me too.

I agree that speaking out comes at a cost. I have experienced it personally. I am not embarrassed though.

I was fired by my CEO because I spoke out against him lying to save face. It cost me 5 years of pension contributions towards my retirement. I cost me dearly financially when I experienced an emergency event after being fired. l and nearly died. Still trying to recover from the financial loss.

Am I sorry yes and no.

It gave me great pleasure as a responsible manager to help an employee who had been aggrieved by another senior manager and lied to by the CEO for failing to take action against a narcissist he employed.

I am sorry for the distress I caused my wife by not being able to make life better in our retirement.

I am sorry I have to depend on handouts by family, but remain grateful.

I am also grateful my wife forgave me. She was furious when I was fired. She said that she hoped her boss would have done the same for her in similar circumstances.

I wish everything you need and also a merry Christmas and a wonderful 2025 too.

Totally understand and definitely relate to everything you explained in your article. Why you write is why I read, because it is well researched, thought provoking, knowledgeable and uniquely you! Take a break, re-energize and keep going if you are driven to continue. Of everything I have been absorbing with the countless hours of investigation, particularly since 2020, I always look forward to your work the most - it is much better every couple weeks as opposed to any daily 'parroting' in my opinion. We are still the ones in control of our attitudes so let's nurture the positives and the solutions will show themselves. All the best and Merry Christmas Lily!

A heartfelt note, I fully agree and at the same time sympathize with your position. Being an optimist by nature does not mean one has not experienced the dark side of people throughout my nearly 80yrs. It is the positive side of people that always stays with me. Just the same, I have tried to understand the source of the depths of depravity and their overt hostility encountering views with which they cannot comprehend much less respond to what an average person's logical non-aggressive response. Responding non-aggressively to these people drives them ever deeper into their frenzy.

Bottom line, it is not me, it is they who are indeed missing the human decoder the rest of us have. I use the term sociopath but schizoid works as well. There are a lot of these folks. They feel lost unless they are with a crowd of similarly-minded. The "Blog" is a good term as any. They have built themselves into government control structures elevating each other as any cult-thinking group tends to do. They look and sound normal they feel their power is threatened, then they turn towards being psychotic as they see their manufactured self-importance build over decades crumble because someone was articulate enough to call them out.

You bring out the ugly because you are on target. You should step back and analyze that. Your articulation is having a positive impact and those who feel threatened unload on you. The more you are on target, the more they unload. Being a positive force for society exposes you to abuse. Few are willing to do what you have done precisely because of the vitriol thrown your way. Cleckley's "The Mask of Sanity" has both forearmed and steeled me against these people. There is much that is positive that also needs articulation and taking that fork in the road while still upsetting some means I can slough off the negativity more easily even though it can remain deeply disturbing when it occurs. I just don't reply to those who want to engage in that direction. Their decoder is broken and cannot be fixed. No solution for them but to be ignored.

Keep writing,. You are very good at it.

Arrotsevni said: The "Blog" is a good term as any.

I surmise that auto-corrupt has sneaked this one past you, you typed "Borg", and auto-corrupt did as it often does to my scribblings, correct?

Your observations are correct, which is why I've always worked for small companies wherein I've managed to avoid these human shifty snakes.

Thx, but I meant "Borg", a Star Trek reference to mindless computer driven hive mentality.

Corporate units work better when less than 150 individuals, "The Dunbar Number". This relates to it being easier to know what is going on in small towns vs cities.
