I spent my life with the blinkers on completely indoctrinated by the very systems you mention. Then during the last few years of tryanny my eyes opened and it has been one hell of a journey! Once you see, that's it, we are all slaves and too many are docile bodies as normalisation and conformity is the seat of power.
